#SFFFS2024

The conference for anyone who enjoys growing and eating local food — in Texas and beyond!

We are a collaborative event bringing together growers, producers, local food advocates, and small farm supporters from all walks of life.

The 2024 Conference welcomed 500+ attendees and over 50 exhibitors — all sharing information, experiences and resources!

The Southern Family Farmers & Food Systems Conference was formed in 2019 when the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA), Small Producers Initiative at Texas State University (SPI), and Council for Healthy Food Systems (CHFS) decided to join forces and host one big annual event serving small and mid-sized farmers growing sustainably and regeneratively on the land.

Our 3-day conference brings producers from all over Texas, the Southern US, and beyond to celebrate small farms and local food.

Whether you’re brand new to farming or have been doing it for years, we are committed to bringing relevant, farmer-driven information that will energize and inspire!
